COLLECTION
The Stool is designed for small living spaces, in response to the Ercol brief, and it can facilitate multiple functions; a stool, a side table, a bed-side table. The Stool is stackable, meaning it could be purchased both as a singular impulse buy, or as a set of stackable space-saving multiples.
The Bed is a redesigned version of a traditional piece of Chinese furniture known as K'ANG. This piece has been created for the purpose of communicating socially with others. Unlike a western sofa, where users sit side-by-side when socialising, The Bed encourages a more intimate face-to-face interaction, either side of a removeable tea-table. It also doubles up as a day-bed, with the table placed handily on the oor next to the bed.
The Leg is a portable one-legged stool, designed for gallery use. It is laminated out of 33 layers of 6mm Sepele veneers, with a leather seating surface to make it look and feel more inviting to the user.
